Position Summary:

CoreLife is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and drive financial excellence across the organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role requires a proactive, execution-driven leader who ensures timely, accurate financial reporting while optimizing accounting processes. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, internal controls, and team leadership, providing strategic insights to support executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Reporting:

  • Supervise daily accounting functions, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure data integrity
  • Prepare financial statements and related variance analyses
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards

Other Duties:

  • Evaluate and enhance accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy
  • Maintain and enforce internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Assist with system upgrades and technology implementations

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and develop accounting staff, providing guidance and training
  • Ensure team members meet deadlines and maintain high-quality work
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration

Qualifications:

  • CPA Designation
  • 2+ years of supervisory accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Experience with Oracle Netsuite
  • Experience in companies backed by private equity
  • Accounting or Finance degree
