Position Summary:

As the CNC Programmer/ Machinist you will be responsible for taking jobs from 3D model or blueprints and produce finished parts.

Responsibilities:

Programing, setup tooling, basic inspection and finishing of the parts

Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, and material

specifications

Program mills, utilizing manual G-Code Programming and CAM systems

Maintains part specifications by adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes

Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements specified by the

manufacturer s instructions.

Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership and exploring opportunities to

add value to the team

Required Skills/Experience:

Minimum of 10 years machining experience necessary or equivalent

Significant CAM software experience preferably with Master cam

Sufficient 3D surfacing skills

Tooling speeds and feeds selection responsibility

Manual Mill and Lathe Experience

4 axis CNC Programming and operation

Utilization of GD&T standards

Interpersonal skills required to work with others from various disciplines and cultures.

Strong organizational skills to communicate technical data to colleagues and leadership

Must be willing and able to work days and afternoon shifts as required to meet demands

Strong level of analytical thinking

The successful candidate will have to successfully pass a driver s abstract and background

check including drug screen

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Experience operating and programming 4/5 axis CNC machines

Experience with both horizontal and vertical CNC machines

Familiar with UG and TeamCenter

CNC lathe programming and operation experience a plus

Fanuc, Haas, Hurco, Fadal, Makino and Siemens controller experience

Understanding of the constantly evolving racing environment
