Neos is seeking a Site Reliability\Microsoft Exchange Engineer Business Analyst for a multi-year contract possible hire with our client in Austin, TX.

This position is hybrid, with the requirement to come into the Austin office 1 to 2 days a week.

Job Summary
The Site Reliability\Microsoft Exchange Engineer is responsible for primarily supporting Exchange Online and Exchange On-Prem. The position will also assist with managing a complex enterprise scale application and infrastructure environment, which includes robust Windows and Linux Servers, Microsoft Active Directory/Entra ID and other cloud-based infrastructure. Duties will include assisting with design, deployment, automation, and maintenance of the environment along with other related support activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage a Microsoft Exchange Online/On-Prem Hybrid environment including support for on prem SMTP services.
- Manage Proofpoint email gateway, Exchange Online Protection, as well as Microsoft Exchange related PowerShell automation.
- Provides infrastructure support including Microsoft 365, Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID, Windows, and Linux server administration.
- Automates processes and integrations across multiple technologies, primarily using Windows PowerShell.
- Monitors, analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves complex system issues to ensure system availability and efficiency.
- Assists in developing and conducting evaluations of new and existing solutions to identify potential benefits and impact to the agency.
- Assists with developing and documenting policies, procedures, and standards for supporting core platform technologies.
- Collaborates with other agency staff to identify and implement service and security improvements.
- Other duties assigned, which may include on-call or scheduled after hours work as required.
