
Python Tools Developer (Gaming or VFX or Modeling)
Join a renowned global automotive company as a Python Tools Developer utilizing your programming and coding skills to help create cutting-edge visualization tools using NVidia Omniverse for a short-term project.
Responsibilities:
Develop custom tools for NVidia Omniverse to implement it as a comprehensive visualization suite.
Utilize VFX and visualization technologies to enhance the visual representation of automotive products.
Collaborate with designers and engineers to understand visualization requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Work with strengths of USD file format to desired visual outcome.
Ensure visualization quality meets the standards of automotive styling studios.
Support the creation of high-quality 2D renderings, 3D animations, and Virtual and Mixed Reality scenes.
Develop and create custom code for Nvidia Omniverse.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Tools Developer or Programmer.
5+ years of programming experience in Python.
Knowledge of 3D modeling software and tools like Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
Proven experience in software development, particularly in creating visualization tools.
Strong understanding of VFX and visualization work.
Familiarity with game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity.
Previous experience working on graphics such as developing tools for 3D applications like 3D Studio Max Maya.
Understanding of shader programming and materials.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with the visualization quality standards in automotive styling studios.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Familiarity with how CGI is created.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency with NVidia Omniverse and its various components.
Experience with Virtual and Mixed Reality development.
Experience with unreal engine blueprints.
Familiarity with other visualization tools and software.
Knowledge of automotive design and styling processes.
Previous experience in UI.
Previous experience building tools.
