  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

CMDB/CSDM Service Mapping Architect / Data Models

BILL RATE: Open - C2C or W2

LOCATION: CHICAGO

3 DAYS ONSITE AND 2 DAYS REMOTE

Looking for an architect who can sit down with the ServiceNow developers and work with the discovery administrator to create and implement service maps. ServiceNow CSDM model ServiceNow discovery ServiceNow Service mapping of internal and external products. Ideal candidate will have an infrastructure architecture background with good communication skills and soft skills. You will be creating and building models within the business applications within CMDB server. NO ServiceNow developers. We need infrastructure types

    • The Configuration Management Database (CMDB) contractor will support the strategy, planning, design, implementation, management and performance of Configuration Management solutions that will effectively and efficiently support the strategic objectives and operational needs
    • Work with Technical stakeholders to define configuration items and classes, their attributes, and data collection that are important to support 2025 Ovation launch which consists of custom products and persistent COTS.
    • Work with the Discovery Administrators to create and implement service maps. Ensure timely population into the correct ServiceNow tables to support ITSM modules and business objectives.
  1. SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
    • Experience with ServiceNow
    • Understanding capabilities, business applications, services, products, software packages, and their functionality in the ITIL model
    • Comprehension of and the ability to communicate and implement the ITIL CMDB model
    • Comprehension and experience with application and implementation of the following: ServiceNow CSDM model, ServiceNow Discovery, ServiceNow Service Mapping of internal and external products, Service Portfolio Management, and Application Portfolio Management
    • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders to ensure an effective CMDB that adheres to governance standards
    • Broad general knowledge of IT infrastructure topology including typical product, application, server, and networking configurations
    • Experience with Microsoft Office desktop tools (Project, Word, Excel), Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
