The Ask? Client is looking for a DW Solutions Architect with experience in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines using AWS services to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into a data warehouse or data lake, requiring expertise in AWS technologies like Glue, S3, Redshift, etc.,
Skills and Experience_
- Knowledge of building data ingestion pipelines both real time and batch using best practices
- Strong Knowledge of writing SQL, PL/SQL
- Experience with Cloud Computing platforms like Amazon AWS, Google Cloud etc.
- Experience in working cloud data warehouse like Redshift / Snowflake
- Proficient in writing Shell Scripts or Python scripts
- Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres, and Mongodb.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision- making and conflict resolution skills
- Strong debugging skills on complex SQLs and analyzing the data
- Excellent written/verbal communicaton skills.
- Must have Pharma Domain Experience
Responsibilities_
- Responsible for complex
- Linux security model on DW ETL servers. (Servers are administered by another group, but our team is responsible for the security structure and authorizes user access to the groups and sudos)
- Teradata security and access.
- Common Batch Framework and Common Scheduler to ensure current and reliable data is available for critical business processes and decision making.
- Data Warehouse change management infrastructure and all promotions of code and ddl; performing build engineer tasks for both manual and automated promotion processes.
- Migrating the three separate MDHHS DWs supporting four MDHHS Program areas to Common Processes.
- DW standards and processes including their adherence to SOM policies and procedures.
- Conducting elevated access and user audits.
- Mitigating any audit findings; providing input to SSPs.
- Data Warehouse Continuity Planning and testing.
