Position: UX Design System Community Manager
Duration: 12+ months contract
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid - 2 or 3 days onsite a week)
JOB DESCRIPTION
SKILLS NEEDED :
Key responsibilities and day-to-day tasks:
- Advocate for the scalable design system foundations that support product expansion at a platform level
- Ability to share program vision, technical roadmap, and terminology with business and technical stakeholders
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and outreach via support channels including internal website content
- Join leadership meetings, internal IT conventions (show-and-tells), and platform team meetings to evangelize the program.
- Gather data and insights from product teams to aid in strategically planning
- Align design system to product team initiatives and OKR s
- Share and Aileron roadmap with Product Management Organization roadmaps and ORK
- Facilitate Aileron adoption agreements with product teams
- Champion iterative improvements and updates to the design system based on feedback and data.
Required Skillsets
- Knowledge and understanding of the value of community building around an enterprise assets (such as design systems, or share data, or cross-enterprise tools)
- Social connector, ability to identify and form relationships with key influences throughout organization
Strong communication skills, ability to write and converse with both technical and business stakeholders
