Our company, a leader in antibody research and development, is seeking a Senior Associate Scientist to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and consistency of in-process materials, stability samples, and final products. The ideal candidate will not only conduct advanced laboratory analyses but also play a key role in training junior team members and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, stability samples, and final products.
  • Analyze and interpret data, generating comprehensive reports and graphical summaries.
  • Develop and validate new testing methods to enhance product screening and reliability.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies, providing recommendations for implementation.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in test results, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Lead investigations into customer quality complaints and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training documentation for accessibility and compliance.
  • Train and mentor junior team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and laboratory protocols.
  • Conduct tissue culture work, including cell line expansion, maintenance, and characterization.
  • Execute studies to enhance cell line stability, robustness, and productivity.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in cell culture, quality control, and assay development within a biotech or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in data interpretation and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with antibody-based products and biopharmaceutical manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Proficiency in technical writing for SOPs, reports, and training materials.
