We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Sr. Manufacturing Engineer (CNC programming) to join our team. This is a permanent role that will play a pivotal part in our manufacturing process, focused on the development and implementation of state-of-the-art CNC machining methods. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and improving machining processes, tooling, and fixtures while following Lean Manufacturing principles. This role requires a deep understanding of Mastercam, CATIA, NX, and GD&T knowledge.

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Sr. Manufacturing Engineer (CNC programming) to join our team. This is a permanent role that will play a pivotal part in our manufacturing process, focused on the development and implementation of state-of-the-art CNC machining methods. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and improving machining processes, tooling, and fixtures while following Lean Manufacturing principles. This role requires a deep understanding of Mastercam, CATIA, NX, and GD&T knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
- Design, develop and test and/or source and cost-justify various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
- Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
- Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards.
- Develop and maintain CNC programs for multiple machine types using Mastercam, CATIA, and NX.
- Confer with vendors and internal cross-functional teams to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of machinery and equipment according to specifications and quality standards.
- Ensure all manufacturing safety regulatory policies and procedures are implemented and maintained at all times.
- Stay informed about latest machining technology and trends, and implement new technologies as appropriate to maintain state-of-the-art capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the mortgage industry.
- Proven experience with CNC programming, tooling, and fixtures.
- Comprehensive understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Proficient in Mastercam, CATIA, NX, and have sound GD&T knowledge.
- Strong understanding of quality improvement processes.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with complex transactions with little supervision.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to keep abreast of industry trends and technology advancements.
