Piper Companies is currently seeking an Automation Engineer based in Raleigh, North Carolina to work at an established CDMO. The Automation Specialist will be part of a newly formed team and will work on performing necessary documentation, and overseeing troubleshooting for a new facility build out/technical transfer.

Responsibilities of the Automation Engineer:

Responsible for providing automation operational support functions

Lead plant operations to assess and resolve non-conforming events, determine impact

Develop and deliver reports from reporting software

Provide technical support for all elements of computer-aided manufacturing

Qualifications of the Automation Engineer:

5 years experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing automation or validation and Bachelor's in a relevant field; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge of ISA standards/practices for instrumentation

Proficient in Delta V

Technical writing skills with reference to CSV

Compensation for the Automation Engineer:
  • S alary Range: $45 - $48/hr
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays
