  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are engaged in a search for a Security Operations Engineer to work on-site at our client's headquarters in Tampa, FL. This is a full-time (direct hire) position.

Local Tampa area candidates only or someone willing to relocate on own.

In this role, you will work with another team member on daily monitoring of security protocols for the entire organization at a functional and technical level.

Tasks will include, (but are not limited to):

  • Daily monitoring and follow-up of alerts and escalation as needed
  • Participate in incident response
  • Ongoing tool maintenance and consistent review of security trends and current tools
  • Participate in the design and execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
  • Review and update security policies and procedures.
  • Follow NIST Standards

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least one Security Certification (CompTIA + , Cisco, GIAC)
  • Bachelor Degree or related experience.
  • Career path in Systems or network engineering and currently in a Security related role for at least 3 years.
  • Proven experience in Security engineering and operations - Policy, Log Management/SIEM, Intrusion, Access Control, Data Loss Prevention, Firewall, etc.
  • Familiar with Tools such as Perch, SentinalOne, Varonous, Cyberhaven, Palo Alto, or similar
  • Experience writing policies and procedures
  • Ability to write scripts
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail
