Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of telephony systems from legacy Nortel to Microsoft Teams voice and Five9s across 125 sites in North America.
- Support a user base of 5,000 people, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption.
- Configure and manage autocodes, routing, and other telephony-related tasks.
- Oversee the migration process for each site, with an estimated completion time of one month per site.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration.
- Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support throughout the migration process.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices for future reference. Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Nortel telephony systems and significant telephony experience.
- Proven track record of successful Five9s migration projects.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams voice and related technologies.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing autocodes and routing.
- Familiarity with Informacast for overhead paging systems.
- Experience with tools and technologies such as Session Border Controllers (SBCs), SIP Trunking, and VoIP protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
