Job Title: VP of Operations

Location: Saint George, UT

Salary: $200,000 - $225,000

We are seeking a Vice President of Operations who has experience with commercial construction projects, ideally coming from a general contractor, if that sounds like you, lets connect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business strategies to enhance productivity and profitability.
  • Manage daily operations across all departments, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Oversee project management, including closeout and preconstruction phases.
  • Monitor and manage P&L statements to ensure financial health.
  • Lead and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Establish relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to promote business growth.
  • Monitor business procedures, and make recommendations on process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in commercial construction.
  • Provide monthly business summaries and productivity reports to internal management.
  • Ensure post construction closeout meetings are conducted for projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role with a commercial general contractor.
  • Strong knowledge of design, building systems, and construction operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage P&L effectively.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in project management and strategic planning.
