  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

MMC Group is hiring of an Application Development Manager for our client in Broomfield, CO!

The client is a Colorado based Credit Union, servicing nearly 200k members. This is a new role as the client is looking to modernize and expand their tech related capabilities.

The Application Development Manager is responsible for designing, building, implementing, and supporting both vendor-packaged and custom internal solutions that enhance the Credit Union s core banking platform (Symitar) and other enterprise applications, in line with our strategic plan and technology roadmap. This role leads the design, development, and delivery of business solutions aimed at optimizing operational efficiency through technology.

The manager oversees a team of core developers and collaborates with business units and internal IT teams to deliver enterprise solutions that meet the organization s operational needs, utilizing software delivery best practices. In addition to possessing excellent problem-solving abilities, strong software engineering discipline, and knowledge in Symitar PowerOn. Must be an initiator who is self-motivated, creative, agile, and accountable. They must balance efficiency with effectiveness and have strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

  • Manages and supervises the core development team distributed across scrum teams and business lines. Responsibilities include overseeing resource administration, planning, allocation, and organization as needed.
  • Works closely with the Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) on team delivery and attends appropriate stakeholder ceremonies.
  • Creates a supportive team-oriented work climate that enables project and resource team members to develop professionally; and that values diversity, promotes teamwork and collaboration, and emphasizes quality, customer satisfaction, creativity, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Demonstrates expertise and leadership in, design and development concepts, practices, procedures, and governance, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and efficient software solutions.
  • Implement processes for continuous improvement of application management practices. Seeks feedback from users, analyzes performance metrics, and identifies areas for enhancement or innovation.
  • Defines design patterns, reviews code, and ensures that solutions adhere to Elevations coding, compliance, and information security standards.
  • Works with external vendors for integrated solutions. Stays current with vendor strategic roadmaps to influence the health and currency of our application architecture.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience with financial institution technologies, such as Jack Henry Tech Suite: Symitar, Synapsys, Synergy, SymXchange, ARCU
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science; Master's degree preferred
  • Experience in software development methodologies, version control, and testing practices
  • Experience in leadership and people management experience with an emphasis on coaching, mentoring, guiding and motivating team members on project and product delivery and career / professional development
  • Professional experience with IBM s AIX operating system
  • SQL, HTML, JavaScript; Relational databases
  • ITIL framework and knowledge of implantation process

Location: Hybrid - expected to be on-site at least 50% of the time every 2 weeks
