Job Summary:
The IT Systems Engineer III is responsible for managing and supporting Crane Aerospace & Electronics global data endpoint systems. Key areas of responsibility include SCCM, Active Directory, Office 365, InTune, Exchange, Citrix, and File & Print Services. This role involves supporting Windows operating systems, mobile devices, configuration standards, patching, monitoring, alerting, and automation to ensure business systems run efficiently.
- Plan and implement data center technologies to support critical business operations.
- Ensure uptime and availability of critical systems through proactive monitoring and prompt remediation of issues.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in identity and access management technologies, such as Active Directory, Azure AD, Quest, SailPoint, and Oracle IAM.
- Support IT strategies, policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
- Analyze trends, identify issues, and anticipate infrastructure requirements to ensure system stability.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including CMMC, Sarbanes-Oxley, DFARS, ITAR, and other relevant regulations.
- Oversee monitoring, alerting, and automation tools for critical infrastructure and business systems.
- Contribute to defining and delivering strategic plans for implementing infrastructure technologies to maintain organizational efficiency.
- Stay current with technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, and industry best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS or MS degree in computer-oriented technical discipline or equivalent experience
- 5+ years as a Systems Engineer in a medium to enterprise environment, with experience managing Active Directory and Azure AD Hybrid environments.
- Experience administering employee lifecycle policies, configurations, workflows, and upgrades.
- Expertise in managing various Microsoft-based solutions, including Citrix, InTune, Office 365, and Quest tools such as ActiveRoles, Change Auditor, and Enterprise Reporter.
- Experience with enterprise messaging systems and both on-premise and cloud-based Active Directory management.
- Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve technical identity and access management solutions and systems for protection against evolving threats and efficiency.
- Coach other members of the organization on the best practices that should be followed in identity and access management.
- Knowledge and understanding of Email, Office 365, Troubleshooting and Powershell; Understanding of Role Based Access Control and Least Privilege.
