We are seeking to hire several seasoned Vulnerability Management Analysts to join our team working on a new multi-year project award in Washington, DC.
This role is 80% remote, with 1 day onsite per week (typically Wednesday s), in the DC office location (Near Union Station METRO stop).
This position pays a strong salary package with full benefits (including choice of healthcare plans, dental, vision, life insurance, 3 weeks PTO, 11 Paid Federal Holidays, and a matching 401k).
An option for working on an hourly rate is also available for those not needing a full benefits package.
Position: Vulnerability Management Analyst
Location: Washington D.C. (Hybrid 4 days remote, 1 day onsite)
On-site Requirement: 1 day per week
Clearance Requirement: Must pass Public Trust clearance before starting work (2-4 weeks). US Cit required to pass the clearance requirements.

Job Summary: The Vulnerability Management Team Member assists in identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities within the organization's IT environment. This role involves conducting assessments, implementing security measures, and supporting the overall security strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Perform vulnerability scans and assessments.
- Assist in the remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
- Maintain and update vulnerability management tools.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to enhance security.
- Document and report findings and recommendations.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents.
- Participate in security audits and assessments.
- Stay informed about emerging security threats and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys).
- Understanding of network security and common vulnerabilities.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of security best practices and frameworks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels.
