Description
Robert Half is in search of a Desktop Support Technician to join our client's team in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. This role involves managing technical support, maintaining IT systems, and working with external vendors.
This is a Direct Hire role that will require onsite work.
Responsibilities:
Handling all technical support inquiries as the primary point of contact via phone, email, or ticketing system
Assisting -end-users with IT related issues
Managing the setup and configuration of new hardware and software for end users
Ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems across our organization
Working with IT team members for upgrades and new projects
Documenting technical issues and their solutions
Assisting in the onboarding and offboarding of employees
Maintaining IT inventory
Requirements
Proficiency in using and managing Ticketing Systems
Demonstrated experience in Network Troubleshooting
Proficient in using and managing Microsoft Office 365 tools
Solid understanding and experience with Active Directory
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team and independently
Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
2 or 4 year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred
Detail oriented certifications like CompTIA A+ are an advantage
