About Us

We are a fast-growing technology and investment company led by a serial entrepreneur with a vision to become a high-profile industry leader (i.e. Elon Musk, Mark Cuban, Richard Branson). As we scale our portfolio and launch new ventures, we seek a dynamic Director of PR & Personal Branding to elevate our founder’s public presence, secure high-impact press coverage/ speaking engagements/ podcast appearances, and manage media strategy.

About the Role

This role is for a seasoned PR professional who has worked with high-profile entrepreneurs, investors, or tech executives. You will take ownership of the founder’s public narrative, developing and executing strategic communications to position him as a thought leader while increasing awareness of his holdings company and upcoming ventures. Strong relationships with tier 1 media outlets is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Media Relations & Thought Leadership
  • Develop and execute a PR strategy to position the CEO as a leading voice in tech and AI.
  • Secure media coverage in top-tier publications (Forbes, Bloomberg, TechCrunch, WSJ, etc.).
  • Draft op-eds, thought leadership pieces, and social media content.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key journalists and influencers.
  • Company & Product Launch PR
  • Lead all public relations efforts for the launch of a new tech startup.
  • Develop press materials, pitches, and messaging for company announcements.
  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to align PR with business goals.
  • Speaking Engagements & Podcasts
  • Secure high-profile speaking opportunities at industry conferences (TEDx, Web Summit, SXSW, etc.).
  • Book podcast interviews with influential hosts in tech, business, and venture capital.
  • Oversee messaging, briefing documents, and media training.
  • Crisis & Reputation Management
  • Monitor brand sentiment and proactively manage potential PR risks.
  • Craft responses for crisis communications when necessary.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years in public relations, preferably working with high-profile tech entrepreneurs or executives. This is not a hard requirement, just a proxy for competence– if you’re a star player, you’ll be on the team.
  • Ability to think outside the box and work around problems in a creative manner.
  • Strong relationships with top-tier journalists and media outlets.
  • Proven success in securing press coverage, speaking engagements, and podcast features.
  • Experience leading PR for startup launches or fast-scaling companies.
  • Excellent writing skills—able to craft compelling press materials, op-eds, and thought leadership pieces.
  • Agile, strategic, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about technology, AI, and entrepreneurship.
