Description: Our client is currently seeking a UX/Visual Designer III
The Art Department is a multi-disciplinary identity design and branding team collaborating with UX and Marketing to express YouTube's brand across all of our products and services. We publish our work on YouTube Standards, which guides internal and external teams on how to create things that look and feel like YouTube.
The ideal candidate is a systematic and strategic design thinker with a passion for branding. They can seamlessly bring the best of both worlds of brand and product together through building cohesive and flexible brand identity systems. This role requires experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, taking on the role of a brand ambassador leading design excellence. The Senior Visual Designer candidate must have experience developing comprehensive visual identity systems, and experience presenting work and obtaining buy-in from key stakeholders. The candidate should also be able to contribute design concepts through collaborative design sprint sessions.
Responsibilities include:
Contribute to brand expression and visual design in product:
Support visual design program
Mandatory:
degree is preferred in design
bachelors in design or related degree
tool experience: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite
Preferred skills:
prototyping, 3D design, etc

Responsibilities include:
Contribute to brand expression and visual design in product:
- Establish unique visual and conceptual design directions through mood boarding, design explorations, and participate in design reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members on design production and execution across UX and product.
- Address stakeholder feedback and iterate on design directions as needed.
- Partner with internal motion designers and engineers in delivery of final design concepts
- Manage asset handoff to engineers and motion designers
- Develop style guides and documentation for visual design directions
- Maintain high standard of execution
Support visual design program
- Assist as needed to ensure development of all visual design projects
- Contribute to the maintenance and refinement of design templates, briefs and other program infrastructure
