Description:
This individual will be supporting a client as they migrate to OpenShift. The CI/CD pipelines are already built, so this position will need to be pragmatic and fix issues as they arise within the migration pipeline. The individual will need experience in leading/facilitating analysis of current systems and problem identification and resolution.
The team is looking for a technically proficient individual with strong business acumen. OpenShift is a new technology to many team members so they will need high level expertise around OS and be able to problem solve and bounce around from development teams. This individual will work with cross functional teams and help integrate CI/CD pipelines. This person needs to have a firm understanding of cloud computing and platforms such as PaaS design and micro services and containers.
This individual will also provide guidance for best practices for the Kubernetes platform. They will be leading and designing infrastructure architecture for 12-factor cloud ready applications. They need to have a firm understanding of infrastructure management and have worked with platforms such as Ansible and Terraform.
The team needs someone who at the core understand the migration and problems that may arise. There will be no trainings or learning period, the individual needs to join the team and immediately start making a impact.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $91.00 - $115.00/hr.
