Key Responsibilities:
- Support existing Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) hosted applications within Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud and MS Azure Cloud.
- Provide analyses on current strategies, visioning, managed products and services.
- Identify customer/stakeholder needs and capture and evaluate requirements.
- Design, develop, and manage SharePoint pages/content for the Intranet.
- Provide maintenance and programming support to existing Mission Systems software applications.
- Design, develop, or modify software solutions to meet business requirements.
- Create and update training programs and documentation.
- Ensure software platforms have detailed and executable test cases/scenarios.
- Evaluate and document end-user experience.
- Manage application databases, define maintenance plans, perform reporting and querying, adhere to data naming standards, and monitor backups.
- Develop training plans, scenarios, tools, aids, and curriculums to meet customer needs.
- Maintain a Development/Production environment ensuring all security and operational patches are applied.
- Prepare and complete Security Assessment Packages in support of Authorization to Operate (ATO) for systems.
- Review and provide input to System Security Plans (SSPs).
- Develop proofs-of-concept and pilot programs to explore new technologies .
- Provide requirements analysis support to determine business and technical requirements.
- Document and track hardware and software environment, including property location and lifecycle management.
- Plan and move existing applications to new environments while maintaining continuity of service.
- Provide program management, leadership guidance, risk management, task management, and quality management.
- Develop project plans, execute monitoring, and progress reporting.
- Conduct project close-outs and assist with standard operating procedures and training plans.
- Provide regular briefings on milestone progression, financial status, and performance status.
- Provide IT-related technical and advisory services in support of existing or emerging requirements.
Qualifications:
- Leads team on large projects or significant segments of large complex projects.
- Analyzes new and complex project-related problems and creates innovative solutions.
- Provides applications systems analysis and programming activities for client projects.
- Prepares long and short-range plans for application selection , systems development, and maintenance.
- Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables.
- Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs.
- Oversees all aspects of projects.
- PMP certification is strongly preferred.
- Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
- Directs and controls activities for a client, with overall responsibility for financial management , methods, and staffing.
- Interacts with senior management and engages in client negotiations.
- Must possess at least 15 years of relevant work experience and a bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a related field.
- A postgraduate degree from an accredited university in a related field may substitute for 6 years of experience.
- One year of relevant experience may be substituted for one year of required education.
