Job Description:

  • Manage sales and marketing activities for a leading contract manufacturing firm delivering electro-mechanical and electro-optical systems for the defense/aerospace market.
  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals.
  • Develop tailored sales strategies targeted to various defense integrators.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle and processes, including lead generation, price proposals, bids and purchase orders.
  • Direct customer presentations, sales negotiations, and deal closure.
  • Manage complex bid and proposal processes with technical requirements to deliver customized solutions.
  • Manage the company’s new business pipeline.
  • Build strategic relationships and business plans within key accounts.
  • Contribute to the company’s products and services roadmap.
  • Manage a variety of customers.

Prerequisites:

  • 5-7 years of experience in a comparable position managing sales for the defense/aerospace sector.
  • Proven familiarity with U.S. defense integrators (required)
  • Familiarity with armored vehicle market (preferred)
  • Strong communications/presentation skills, proven experience in negotiations

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or business administration (preferred)
