Job Description: At Regions, the Agile Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, consulting, and managing complex enterprise level Agile projects and programs. This role will communicate with project sponsors, stakeholders, and vendors to coordinate and facilitate all project activities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manages software, systems, and business projects
• Defines project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery
• Performs delivery planning and managing project risks for assigned projects and teams
• Prepares project documentation as required including plans, stories, burn ups, burn downs, release plans, postmortem and other documents as needed
• Aids in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work; leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work; and mentoring and developing team members
• Supports the Product Owner in managing expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governance
• Defines and manages a well-defined project management process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile Project Management
• Executes departmental projects and tasks as assigned
• Mentors other associates in developing/honing business knowledge, analytical skills, and project management skills.

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related degree
Five (5) years of project management related experience

Preferences

• Experience working as Scrum Master
• Experience managing agile software development projects
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• Project Management Institute-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to create and deliver influential large-scale project communications with clarity, confidence, and enthusiasm
• Demonstrated ability to manage time and multiple commitments / projects simultaneously
• Relevant work experience in technology with a broad understanding across multiple IT disciplines
• Familiarity with the Kanban approach, utilizing Jira and Confluence toolsets
• Expertise with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
• Understanding of leadership development and engagement techniques in professional corporate settings
• Strong written / verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Comments for Suppliers: -Looking for a candidate that is assertive and go-getter, takes initiative to figure out what the next best steps are without having to be told how to go get it done.
• -Excellent communication skills required. Able to be succinct and articulate.
• -Working hours are 8:00-5:00 central time with one hour lunch. Remote position requires transparent availability, ability to be online and available during work hours. On-camera required for team meetings, 1:1s and some presentations.
• -Someone with experience with Microsoft Project and Jira preferred.
• -Must be comfortable managing technical and non-technical aspects of a project.
• -Stable work history preferred. Reasons for early departure (less than six months at a company) on resume is appreciated.
• -Experience using vlookup and pivot tables in Excel is preferred.
• Preferred experience in banking and working with one or more of these types of partners would be bonus: Risk, Compliance, Audit, Governance.
