Business Systems Analyst with RAR Expertise
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst III (BSA III) with expert knowledge in SAP SD/OTC functionality and revenue recognition processes (RAR). The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in Order to Cash (OTC) processes within SAP, with a focus on the SAP Revenue Recognition (RAR) engine. Experience in the SaaS industry and integration between SAP S4 Hana and other systems such as SAP Callidus, SAP EMS, and Icertis will be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP SD/OTC functionality, providing expert guidance and solutions across all areas of Order to Cash processes.
- Implement and support SAP's Revenue Recognition (RAR) engine in accordance with ASC 606 revenue standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP S4 Hana with other systems, such as SAP Callidus, SAP EMS, and Icertis, to optimize processes and ensure accuracy in data flow.
- Analyze business requirements, translate them into system requirements, and recommend best practices for SAP SD/OTC and revenue recognition.
- Provide ongoing support for SAP SD/OTC and RAR, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system upgrades.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP SD/OTC functionality and emerging trends in revenue recognition standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and deliver solutions that enhance efficiency and performance in Order to Cash processes.
- Assist with the implementation of SAP S4 Hana, ensuring smooth migration and integration with existing systems.
- Conduct system testing and validation, ensuring all configurations meet the business requirements and revenue recognition standards.
- Support end users with training and documentation to ensure proper use of SAP SD/OTC and RAR functionalities.
Required Qualifications:
- Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP SD/OTC functionality in all areas of Order to Cash processes.
- Extensive experience with the SAP Revenue Recognition (RAR) engine, including familiarity with ASC 606 revenue standards.
- Strong understanding of SAP integration with external systems, particularly SAP Callidus, SAP EMS, and Icertis.
- Experience in the SaaS industry is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and translate complex business requirements into system configurations and solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams to implement solutions and drive process improvements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP S4 Hana experience.
- Familiarity with integration and data flow across multiple enterprise systems.
- Certifications in SAP SD, SAP Revenue Recognition (RAR), or related areas are a plus.
- Experience working in the SaaS industry.
