- Some benefits may vary based on job classification
- Responsible for Accounts Receivable primarily for Groups and Events, but may also include club member AR.
- Perform Monthly House and Intercompany billing
- Work with Event Coordinator to prepare and manage billings of group events.
- Application of credit card, ACH and checks to include posting of payments to customer accounts.
- Handle refunds for guests.
- Maintenance of city ledger accounts.
- Prepare monthly accounts receivable reports to be reviewed by supervisor.
- Maintain status of Accounts Receivable and follow up on past due amounts
- Assist with month end and year end close procedures to include audit support.
- General customer service to include payment and processing inquiries.
- Works to continuously improve processes and documentation.
- Handle calls from customers regarding billings.
- Perform special projects as requested by Controller or Accounting Manager to include, but not limited to, account reconciliations, audit tasks, and cross training within the department.
- College level courses in Business or Accounting preferred.
- 2-5 years of combined work/education experience in accounting
- Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Accurate and detail-oriented work ethic.
- Professional, helpful demeanor, honest, truthful and ethical.
- Resourceful with troubleshooting skills
- Good listening skills.
- Can act calmly and professionally in stressful situations
