Chief Enterprise Architect
We have an urgent need for a Chief Enterprise Architecture for a client located in San Antonio, TX.
Below are the required qualifications/ background for this role:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, System Analysis or a related field of study. Previous experience as a successful enterprise architect highly desirable.
- Experience in at least two IT disciplines (such as tech architect, solution architect, network management, application dev, middleware design, information analysis, database management or oper management) in a heterogeneous environment- or exp in solution architect, business analysis or business strategy planning.
- Demonstrated track record of leading high-performance teams toward the successful attainment of challenging goals.
- Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, micro services, event-driven IT and predictive analytics.
- Exposure and understanding of existing, new and emerging technologies, and processing environments.
- Exceptional soft and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.

- Knowledge of all components of holistic enterprise architecture.

- Masters' degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience
- Additional training or certification in organization change management highly desirable

- Lead the development and implementation of enterprise architecture roadmaps aligned with organizational goals
- Identify emerging technologies and market trends to maintain competitive advantage
- Guide financial planning including ROI analysis, P&L management, and technology investment strategies
Architecture & Innovation
- Design and implement cutting-edge cloud, security, and infrastructure architecture models
- Establish DevOps pipelines supporting continuous deployment in cloud environments
- Develop comprehensive enterprise data models and governance frameworks
- Lead digital experience initiatives to enhance customer and employee satisfaction
- Analyze potential disruptions and competitive threats in the technology landscape
Team Development & Governance
- Build and mentor high-performing architecture teams
- Establish architecture governance frameworks ensuring compliance and best practices
- Foster collaboration between business and IT stakeholders
- Drive cultural change supporting enterprise architecture initiatives
