Description
TEKsystems is looking to add a new data entry and customer service candidate to support with the goal of reducing the workload on the project managers and improving the company's ability to set up new locations more efficiently. Candidates will be responsible for processing Network request for New, Move, and Closed sites. Responsible for requesting circuit quotes, ordering network equipment, scheduling site visits, communicating with the field, and documenting the process.
Process network requests through Project Management System
Review incoming network request and assign appropriate tasks
Record all incoming and outgoing communications on the service request
Record all Network site information on the service request
Vendor Coordination
Request circuit quotes from approved vendors
Manage costs through competitive quote analysis
Coordinate site visits between vendors and field employees
Order network hardware from approved vendors
Escalate to Telecom leadership if vendor is not meeting expectations
Internal Communication
Schedule site test and turn up with needed internal teams
Coordinate with internal NOC team to assign a resource for site test and turn up
Provide regular updates to the field concerning their network request
Process Documentation
Document interactions with field employees to improve future support
Identify process areas lacking in documentation
Coordinate with Telecom Projects team to update existing process documents
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
