Role: Platform Engineer

Location: Must be onsite in Columbus or Minneapolis, MN.

Type: 6+ month contract with opportunity to extend.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain the ASG Data Intelligence metadata management tool.

  • Install and upgrade the Data Intelligence platform (Rochade, Becubic, ASG) and new scanners.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather metadata requirements and align them with business objectives.

  • Develop and enforce metadata standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications Needed:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in metadata management, data cataloging, data governance, and data quality capabilities.

  • Strong understanding of metadata concepts, standards, and best practices.

  • Familiarity with data source technologies, data flows, and data movement processes.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams.

  • Ability to work with business teams to understand data needs and confidently advocate for the technical side.
