Akkodis is seeking a Program Manager for a contract position with a client in Charlotte, NC. You will be responsible for delivering AML/BSA technology initiatives and ensuring successful and timely implementation of changes related to global sanctions and other compliance-related technologies within the organization.
Rate Range: $60 to $65 per hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive strategic AML technology initiatives, including planning, development, execution, and alignment with multi-generational plans (MGPs).
- Take ownership of end-to-end technology delivery, change management, and financial accountability for all initiatives.
- Oversee project issues, risks, and milestones, ensuring alignment with commitment dates and adherence to audit/regulatory standards.
- Identify and resolve key project challenges, escalating issues when necessary to maintain smooth project flow.
- Champion change and lead continuous improvement efforts to optimize outcomes, mitigate risks, and improve operational efficiency.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Program Management Experience: Minimum 7 years in program management or technology roles, with a proven track record of managing multiple, interdependent, and complex projects (including application software development) and a strong ability to execute change management initiatives effectively.
- Business Partnering Skills: Ability to collaborate, communicate, and influence effectively at all levels within an organization, including Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams.
- Presentation and Analytical Skills: Strong ability to present and explain results of complex analysis to diverse audiences in a clear and impactful manner.
- PMP Certification is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
- Experience developing processes and controls with a risk and enterprise control framework perspective.
- Deep understanding of Risk Framework.
