  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Proficient in utilizing GIS hardware and software with a deep understanding of their applications.
    • Skilled in using current GIS tools (such as ArcGIS Pro, Desktop, and ArcGIS Online), mapping services, and possessing extensive knowledge of their functionalities.
    • Experienced in operating Trimble GPS equipment for conducting field surveys.
    • Well-versed in rural addressing and supporting E911 mapping operations.
    • Knowledgeable in mapping infrastructure such as streets, water systems, and utilities.
    • Extremely detail-oriented and focused on ensuring mapping accuracy and precision.


    SCOPE OF WORK

    • The GIS Contractor shall work with the organization to provide GIS services.
    • This will include managing the computerized Geographic Information System (GIS), which includes updating parcel and jurisdictional boundaries based on recorded plats; custom mapping projects; reports of public works functions; updating the GIS utility databases; and using surveying and Global Positioning System (GPS) technology.
    • Also included is development of online mapping applications allowing all users to more easily use GIS data, develop and recommend strategy used to convert data to be incorporated into the GIS, support for drafting and engineering projects (such as waterline projects, street improvements, building designs, etc.).
    • May be requested to assist with planning and building and public works on functions such as zoning, refuse, recycling, water transportation, building inspections, streets, etc.
    • The role will also be responsible for assigning new e911 street addresses in coordination with the building official.
