Clinical Informaticist
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Clinical Informaticist to support our Competitive billion DOD Healthcare Management System Modernization (DHMSM) program in Vienna, VA, providing the modernization of Electronic Health Record (EHR) capabilities for the Department of Defense. Leidos, along with core partners Cerner, Accenture, and Henry Schein, will support the DHMSM Program Executive Office (PEO) and the Defense Health Agency in the global deployment of our proposed EHR system that will deliver improved system capability to the DoD whenever and wherever healthcare is required. This is one of the most exciting, cutting-edge programs that you can be a part of with Team Leidos and will improve the quality of healthcare for some 10 million military personnel and their families
Primary Responsibilities:
- The Clinical Informaticist will join the End User Engagement Team.
- Your efforts will support the implementation, deployment, and sustainment of capabilities for a dynamic and expanding portfolio of health solutions.
- The Clinical Informaticist will support several different work streams with a focus on clinical workflow andchange management and adoption activities.
Key activities include:
- Current state assessment, workflow analysis and recommendations
- Recommendations for new workflows and updates to existing workflows.
- Change Management support for deployments including:
- Development of Start-Stop-Continue
- Change Impact Summary
- Supervisor Change Sessions
- Support of action plans
- Support content development for training
- Support virtual and onsite workflow adoption reinforcement
Qualifications:
- BSN degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or a master's with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience.
- Deep knowledge of hospital and ambulatory processes
- Experienced in Oracle (Cerner) electronic health record
- Strong project management knowledge
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, including the proven ability to work across different audiences, personalities, and experience levels.
