ServiceNow Developer
Location: DMV Area (Tyson's Corner, VA; Hybrid 2-3 Days Onsite)
12+ month contract


Job Overview
We are seeking a Mid-Level ServiceNow Developer with 4+ years of experience (or slightly less if highly skilled) to join our team in the DMV area. This role requires a hybrid work model (2-3 days onsite per week) and the ability to go through the Public Trust clearance process. The ideal candidate is a strong developer with hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform development and preferably has experience working in a consulting firm.

Key Responsibilities
" ServiceNow Development: Design, develop, and implement custom applications, workflows, UI policies, scripts, and integrations within the ServiceNow platform.
" Module Customization & Enhancement: Work on core ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, or other modules, ensuring best practices in ServiceNow scripting and configurations.
" Integration & Automation: Develop API integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications using REST, SOAP, and MID Servers.
" Customization & UI/UX Development: Enhance user experience with custom UI components, portals, dashboards, and widgets using JavaScript, HTML, and AngularJS.
" Workflow & Process Automation: Create and modify Workflows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and Flow Designer workflows.
" System Administration Support: Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and optimization of the ServiceNow platform, including maintenance and upgrades.
" Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and end-users, to translate requirements into technical solutions.
" Compliance & Security: Ensure development aligns with security best practices, FedRAMP requirements, and Public Trust security standards.

Required Qualifications
" Experience: 4+ years of ServiceNow development experience (or slightly less if highly skilled).
" Technical Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow development including JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Flow Designer, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP APIs).
" Workflows & Scripting: Strong understanding of ServiceNow automation, scripting, and administration.
" Hybrid Work Flexibility: Must be able to work onsite in the DMV area for 2-3 days per week.
" Consulting Experience (Preferred): Prior experience working in a consulting environment is a plus.
" Public Trust Clearance Eligibility: Must be able to complete the Public Trust clearance process to access required systems and assets.

" Certifications (Preferred):
o ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
o ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
o Any additional ServiceNow module certifications (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, etc.)
