Senior Information Security Analyst

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst where you will play a key role in enhancing security awareness and ensuring compliance with Enterprise Information Security policies, processes, and standards. You will assess security risks, provide remediation guidance, and drive improvements in information security controls. Your expertise will help optimize security measures, educate stakeholders, and support risk management efforts across the organization.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Provide security consultation to improve awareness and compliance with security policies and standards.
• Analyze and remediate security assessment findings, ensuring alignment with risk management goals.
• Conduct security control testing, review assessment results, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Develop and deliver security awareness training in accordance with enterprise security programs.
• Perform data aggregation and reporting on information security risks and exposures.
• Evaluate and provide recommendations on internal security policies, standards, and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security controls and resolve security-related issues.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the security team.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience in Information Security Analysis or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Strong understanding of security risk management and compliance frameworks.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• 2-4 years of experience with Azure security, Incident Response, and Splunk.
• Experience conducting security control assessments and managing security incidents.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence security best practices.
