Powershare Application Consultant
Summary
The individual is responsible for all activities related to the implementation of PowerShare s Automatic Order Generation as an Application Consultant. This role is vital in the team, acting as a customer-facing advocate for the configuration, training, and delivery of the Automatic Order Generation product line. The consultant must have prior experience in designing and configuring Epic workflows and should be able to quickly learn complex programs to tailor the best solutions for a customer s workflow needs. The consultant works closely with the implementation engineer to ensure the correct configuration and the fulfillment of expectations. Self-motivation and a drive for success are key qualities for this role.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee the creation, delivery, and management of project deliverables, including customized project plans, change requests, issue lists/control logs, status reports, meeting minutes and agendas, project close documents, and customized statements of work.
- Maintain effective communication with both technical and non-technical teams, explaining technical concepts clearly.
- Assist IT developers in troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions.
- Facilitate communication regarding medical and business needs between internal application and development teams.
- Provide consultation on best practice deployment of products, with a particular focus on system deployment and workflow design within hospital systems and/or medical practices.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of product implementation to achieve optimal results.
- Collaborate with project managers on the Automatic Order Generation solution.
- Resolve customer application questions or problems concerning system configuration/setup and product functionality.
- Offer guidance and expertise to customer end-users in assessing application design, usage/efficiency, and training needs.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications Years of Experience: 5+
Required Skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- 5+ years of Radiology/Imaging/Epic workflow experience
- 5+ years of Health Information Technology (HIT) experience
- Clinical background or experience working in the healthcare industry
- Fundamental understanding of typical clinical workflows in hospital or outpatient imaging center environments, including order generation, modality worklist reconciliation, study/series/image hierarchy, and modality types/attributes
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Skills (not required but desirable)
- PowerShare workflow experience
- Epic certification or proficiency (ambulatory, radiant) not necessary but preferred
- SaaS experience is a plus.
