Our client is seeking a UX/UI Designer in New York city \ Hybrid.
Role Description
The Role:
The UX Content Strategist will drive creation of the right content solutions, ensuring that digital experiences are relevant, organized and meaningful. The person will develop plans for how content should be developed and managed. This person will champion the customer by driving the development of the information they need, when and how they need it, in a trusted voice that makes them feel understood and empowered. Content Strategists work side by side with UX strategists, UX/UI designers, UX researchers, developers and product leaders to create desirable and compelling user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
As an expert practitioner, embed with cross-functional teams to define the content strategy to improve user experiences and execute against their strategic priorities.
Based on user insights and business priorities, drives the definition of a clear and actionable strategic direction for development and management of content for the product
Develops plans for content, contributes to information architecture and navigation decisions, creates taxonomies and content models as needed
Advocates for how content can be used to create lasting and meaningful relationships with users
Upholds brand and tone of voice integration and evolution as needed
Creates messaging strategies and outlines
Creates content appropriate for the user personas
Ensures that content is implemented to deliver against the strategy, driving development of crisp, compelling user interface copy for wireframes, prototypes and any other associated assets and channels, delivering a consistent end-to-end experience
Uses data and customer feedback to measure the effectiveness of the content strategy and pivot as needed
Skills & Requirements
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
6+ years of experience in content strategy working with websites, apps and email
Deep familiarity with best practices for organizing and tagging content and understand how to efficiently structure content for copywriters and authors
Analytical skills for interpreting user research and analytics to inform content ideas. Passionate about taking data and designing elegant content solutions.
Understands human-centered design principles and passionate to contribute to design projects
Passion for storytelling and the ability to review, edit and recognize quality content - copy and creative asset execution
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-functional team and act as a strategic partner in product decisions
Experience working in iterative processes and in an agile environment
Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills
Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within multi-functional teams
Strong record of success in working on complex, multi-dimensional programs
Ability to take initiative, think strategically, connect dots across multiple threads and drive results
Proficiency in design and collaboration tools such as Adobe XD Cloud, Figma, Miro, etc.
