Due to Federal Governement Security Clearance Requirements: U.S. Citizenship OR Perm Resident
PRISM seeks a Windows Server Engineer to modernize our server infrastructure. In this role, you will focus on upgrading/replacing Windows Server 2016 systems with 2019/2022, requiring close collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Windows Server upgrades/replacements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (application owners, Server Ops, DBA, Network, Security).
- Resolve system issues.
Required Skills:
- Extensive Windows Server (2016+) administration experience, including Registry, SSL/TLS, and Networking.
- Deep understanding of Active Directory, OUs, and Group Policy.
- Proficient with Microsoft IIS.
- Experience provisioning virtual and physical servers (VMware, bare metal).
- Strong scripting skills (VBS, Batch, WSH, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of SCCM, VMware, SAN, Networking, Firewalls, Security, and Change Management.
- Excellent communication skills (technical and non-technical).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Familiar with CIS Benchmarks.
- Knowledge of Network, Compute, Storage, Cloud, and End-User technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or 6+ years of equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of Network, Compute, Storage, Cloud and End-User technologies.
- Familiarity with CIS Benchmark guidelines for Microsoft Windows OS
- Must be capable of providing solutions to identified systems issues.
