Position Overview:
Terrasmart is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Planner/Scheduler to join our team. This pivotal role will be responsible for optimizing procurement, managing inventory, and overseeing supply chain activities across a global network. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to achieving exceptional customer service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute procurement of raw materials and components from global suppliers.
  • Manage relationships with manufacturing teams and suppliers to confirm production schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Monitor material availability and proactively address any potential issues.
  • Coordinate inventory planning and manage material replenishment alongside program management teams.
  • Analyze MRP systems and adjust planning data to meet future requirements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers on cost-saving initiatives and performance evaluations.
  • Support new product launches and contribute to project management efforts.
  • Participate in monthly inventory reduction programs and the SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations Planning) process.
  • Assist Sales, Customer Service, and Product Management teams with business strategy and product planning.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or MRP management.

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience Managing on average 100 suppliers within a $200m+ revenues company

  • Skills & Competencies:
    • ERP system proficiency required.
    • APICS CPIM/CSCP, CPSM certifications preferred.
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Outlook.
    • Experience managing suppliers and handling large-scale procurement in a $200M+ revenue environment.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based, with less than 10% travel.
