We're looking for a seasoned VP, Business Consulting to help lead client transformation and make a significant impact across multiple business dimensions, from product and commercialization to marketing and growth strategy.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As the VP, Business Consulting, you will be at the forefront of our differentiation strategy, responsible for developing and advising clients on opportunities that have the power to create ownable long-term difference and distinction in the marketplace. You will merge business acumen and analytical insights with innovative strategies and solutions. You will collaborate with various departments and teams, most closely with the Account Management and Strategy teams, to help ensure our work delivers beautifully on the opportunities we’ve aligned on with clients. This role reports directly to the CEO and is a part of our senior leadership team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and lead long-term strategic advisory relationships with senior clients across marketing, sales, product and operations, becoming a trusted go-to consultant on critical business issues
  • Develop, scope, lead and execute strategic consulting engagements that provide tangible, ongoing value to client teams and their organizations
  • Identify and present strategic growth opportunities and strategies across short-term, mid-term and long-term impact horizons
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, competitive landscapes and client strengths to shape informed business recommendations and differentiation strategies
  • Partner with VP, Account Management to set and achieve annual revenue targets and client satisfaction goals by delivering solutions that drive excess differentiation and market growth for each client
  • Partner with peers and agency executives as part of senior leadership team to collaborate on agency opportunities, management decisions, issues, processes, resourcing, etc. to develop and implement solutions
  • Steward cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overarching client strategies and differentiation goals
  • Actively participate in relevant business development and active pitches, collaborating on the approach and content, and presenting to clients as part of the pitch team
  • Offer expert insights, visionary guidance and thought leadership in business and marketing differentiation, increasing awareness and perception of our consulting practice among our internal team, current clients, prospective clients and future recruits

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field
  • MBA from an accredited university or college (preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a business, strategy, marketing or consulting role
  • Proven track record of implementing successful differentiation strategies
  • Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, and on-your-feet thinking
  • Strong creative mindset who embraces innovation and unexpected solutions
  • Confident and comfortable executing solo projects, as well as inspiring cross-functional teams to tackle bigger opportunities
