VDC Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client who is looking for a Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Developer to join their team in Jacksonville, FL.

Summary:
This role will be responsible for overseeing the seamless integration of VDC technology into project workflows. As a senior-level position within the VDC group, the VDC Developer will focus on advancing VDC technology and processes, while addressing project-specific challenges. The position involves establishing best practices and standards to ensure successful implementation and support for design and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Duties Include:
* Provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of BIM/VDC technologies
* Collaborate with VDC and IT teams to define and refine VDC standards and 3D CAD tools
* Deploy VDC technologies, including BIM models, across various construction projects
* Assist project teams during design and pre-construction phases, ensuring efficient modeling and timely approval of shop drawings by implementing effective VDC procedures
* Offer guidance to project teams on processes and methods in accordance with company standards
* Oversee the modeling process to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget constraints
* Drive the adoption of VDC tools and methodologies as needed
* Stay informed on the latest industry trends related to VDC, software, and technology
* Assign tasks and oversee development activities for VDC technicians
* Develop and deliver training materials and sessions on VDC software and procedures for company staff

REQUIREMENTS:
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
