Business Process Optimization Engineer
Remote w/ Travel Required across the US (50%)

Brooksource is seeking a skilled Business Process Optimization Engineer to join our client’s team during a critical unification effort of their distribution centers across the United States. This individual will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and streamlining business processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness during this transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Documentation: Create detailed process documentation, including flowcharts, process maps, etc.
- Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of existing business processes at various distribution centers to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Optimization Strategies: Identify strategies to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
- Project Management: Manage process improvement projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, and management, to ensure successful implementation of process changes.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor the impact of process changes and provide regular reports on progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Travel: Travel to various distribution centers across the United States as required to perform job duties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, PMP, or other relevant certification required
- Proven experience in business process optimization, preferably in a distribution or logistics environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in process mapping and project management tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with distribution center operations and logistics.
