We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to join our dynamic team. As a UX Designer at Clarity Innovations, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our products. On this team, you will join a balanced product team leading all aspects of user experience design, from team kick-off to MVP delivery.

Description:
We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to join our dynamic team. As a UX Designer at Clarity Innovations, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our products. On this team, you will join a balanced product team leading all aspects of user experience design, from team kick-off to MVP delivery.
As a key member of our design team, you may be required to perform the following tasks:
- Build user empathy through research and translate findings into actionable solutions
- Design and prototype solutions using industry tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.)
- Build high-quality UI components with React and TypeScript
- Create flow diagrams, wireframes, and intuitive navigation structures
- Monitor overall application look and feel
Minimum Experience Requirements

- Experience in hybrid UX/frontend engineering roles
- Strong knowledge of mobile and web-based software & applications.
- Experience creating flow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and visual comps
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and CSS for implementing responsive and accessible user interfaces
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented, with a strong sense of visual design and technical implementation
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in both design and engineering tasks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. The degree requirement can be met with four years of hands-on experience as a software engineer or a similar full-time position
- 3-5 years of DevOps engineering experience
- Eligible to obtain a SECRET level clearance or higher
- Open/able to travel for in-person meetings
Preferred:
- Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design/development
- Expertise in frontend performance testing and optimization
- Experience working on projects related to cybersecurity, offensive cyber tools (OCO), or other technical, mission-critical systems.
- Experience in synthesizing findings and creating actionable outcomes
- Experience includes User Centered Design (UCD) methods
- Experience providing input on product decisions through user research, customer development, and iterative feedback loops
- Experience working in a balanced team with other UX Designers to build, measure, and learn
- Experience in the design and development of full-service applications
