Position Overview:

As an Art Director at The Variable, you will play a vital role in shaping and executing creative campaigns that push boundaries and deliver results. You’ll work closely with our creative team to develop visual solutions that connect with audiences and support our clients' brand goals. Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the creative team to develop compelling visual concepts for integrated campaigns across digital, print, and social channels.
  • Execute high-quality designs that align with the campaign’s strategic direction, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Participate in client meetings to present creative ideas, incorporate feedback, and refine designs to meet client needs.
  • Maintain and enhance brand identity for clients, ensuring that creative assets align with established guidelines.
  • Stay informed about design trends, tools, and technologies, applying relevant insights to your work to keep the agency’s creative output fresh and forward-thinking.
  • Work closely with copywriters, project managers, and strategists to deliver cohesive and impactful campaigns.
  • Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in a creative or art direction role, preferably within an advertising agency or similar environment.
  • A diverse portfolio demonstrating a strong grasp of design principles and innovative visual storytelling across various media.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Lightroom).
  • Proficiency in incorporating AI tools into workflow (Midjourney, Chat GPT+, Jasper, etc.)
  • Strong ability to translate strategic goals into compelling visual concepts that connect with audiences.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including copywriters, designers, and account managers, to bring ideas to life.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines with ease.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including copywriters, designers, and account managers.
  • Interest in exploring new creative tools and technologies, including AI tools, to enhance your work and stay ahead of industry trends.
