On our team, you'll coach a development team to achieve its highest performance level, while ensuring the scrum project is successfully progressed. You'll work on unusually complex problems, introduce leading-edge concepts, and provide highly innovative solutions to your team and key stakeholders. Using tools like JIRA, you'll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish Agile processes and Scrum ceremonies.
In this role, you'll guide and mentor your colleagues to directly impact defense acquisition by developing products to better test critical defense systems. This is an opportunity to share your expertise in Agile practices and methodologies along with product management while successfully delivering project solutions that will improve national security.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 10+ years of experience with Agile project management, lean development principles, and Scrum practices
- Experience with requirements gathering, development of wireframes, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Experience implementing Agile processes and Scrum ceremonies, including managing and facilitating backlog refinement, sprint planning, mid-sprint reviews, sprint demos, and retrospectives
- Experience leading teams and working with Product Owners to prioritize backlogs for multiple teams working independent workstreams
- Experience with Agile project management tools
- Knowledge of Scrum principles, Agile frameworks, and methodologies
- Ability to anticipate, mitigate, and resolve risks and conflicts across workstreams
- Secret clearance
- Master's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience managing teams to decentralize decision-making and acting as an escalation point when consensus decisions cannot be reached
- Ability to collaborate with product owners, business partners, developers, and architects to build and define the product backlogs and complete release planning
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives, customers, and internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to problem-solve, organize, resolve issues, and manage customer relationships
- TS/SCI clearance
- Doctorate degree
- ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certification, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or equivalent Certification
