Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group in partnership with a financial services company is seeking a Manager, Operations & Technology Governance. As the Manager, Operations & Technology Governance you will play a vital role in governing O&T agile product teams and championing the Clarity tool across the organization. This includes developing a roadmap for optimal Clarity utilization, maintaining supporting processes and procedures, and driving adoption. Leveraging scrum master expertise, this role will further the Agile Transformation by collaborating with Scrum Masters on evolving metrics and reporting. The Manager will also identify opportunities to streamline and automate O&T processes related to financial, resource, and project/product management. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Scrum Master with a minimum of 5 years of relative experience and is self-motivated, highly organized and detail oriented. Responsibilities:
  • Enhance, maintain, and support Clarity, Jira, and related tools, including system enhancements, process improvements, automation, robust reporting solutions, and comprehensive documentation.
  • Revamp SDLC and project management methodologies, embracing Agile (PDLC), streamlining procedures, ensuring adherence to stage-gates and governance standards, and aggregating portfolio/product reporting.
  • Champion tool adoption and utilization across the organization, partnering with PMs/Scrums and RMs to enforce governance and standards.
  • Oversee the O&T book of work, providing capacity planning, resource forecasting, advanced reporting, and data integrity management.
  • Integrate Clarity and SharePoint Online with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Miro, creating automated interfaces and optimizing cross-functional processes.
  • Lead, train, and develop the O&T Administration team, fostering expertise in Clarity, SharePoint Online, and related applications, and collaborating with O&T teams to evolve platforms and methodologies
Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Certified Scrum Master with 5+ years relative experience
  • 5+ years Jira and Confluence
  • 5+ years managing technology projects and/or applications, preferably in a financial services organization
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies; understanding of governance processes
  • 5+ years as an experienced Clarity (or similar project management tool) user
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI
  • 2+ years experience with SharePoint (preferably SharePoint Online)
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
