Description: Our client is currently seeking a Product Owner-HYBRID
All candidates must be on site in Providence, RI 2-3 days a week

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with 5-10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to work cross-functionally, understand complex product features, and manage technical integration components. Exceptional organizational skills and communication techniques are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Roadmap Contribution:
    • Contribute to the product roadmap by identifying valuable features from customer engagements and market gaps.
  • Requirement Translation:
    • Translate the product roadmap into specific business requirements and user stories.
    • Ensure user stories are ready for Sprint Planning and product development deliveries.
  • Sprint Coordination:
    • Coordinate sprint planning sessions.
    • Collaborate closely with the development team and scrum master during sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Development Evaluation:
    • Evaluate the work completed by the development team.
    • Provide continual feedback to ensure alignment with product goals.
  • Documentation:
    • Write and update product documentation.
    • Develop business cases to support product initiatives.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Lead customer engagements, including business process analyses, demo/configuration workshops, and recurring support meetings.
    • Manage customer relationships throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Needs Assessment:
    • Learn and document customers' needs and functional requirements.
    • Provide gap specifications, business requirements, Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and other necessary artifacts.

Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of experience as a Product Owner.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and understand complex product features and technical integration components.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and communication techniques.
  • Strong experience in translating roadmaps into business requirements and user stories.
  • Proficiency in coordinating sprint planning and collaborating with development teams.
  • Experience in evaluating development work and providing feedback.
  • Skilled in writing and updating product documentation and business cases.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead customer engagements and manage customer relationships.
  • Ability to learn and document customer needs and functional requirements effectively.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
