Senior OIPA Configuration and Integration Specialist
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior OIPA Configuration and Integration Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) configuration, integration, and support. This role is pivotal in ensuring that OIPA is effectively customized, integrated with other business systems, and maintained to meet the strategic needs of our insurance products and business processes. The Senior OIPA Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and system administrators, to deliver high-quality solutions that drive operational efficiency and support business growth.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum X years of experience in Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) configuration, with at least X-X years in a senior or lead role.
- Strong experience in system integrations, including working with APIs, middleware, and third-party system integrations.
- Experience in the insurance industry, particularly in policy administration, underwriting, claims, and billing.
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of OIPA configuration tools and processes.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and/or Java for customization and integration purposes.
- Experience with Oracle SOA Suite, REST/SOAP APIs, and other integration technologies.
- Strong understanding of XML, JSON, and data mapping principles.
- Leadership and Communication:
- Proven ability to lead complex OIPA configuration and integration projects, working with both technical and business teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Certifications:
- Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Insurance Policy Administration or Oracle SOA Suite) are a plus.
- Life/Annuity Insurance-related certifications (e.g LOMA) is a bonus
