Job Description

Position Summary: We are urgently seeking a highly skilled OpenText VIM Consultant to lead our OpenText VIM backlog and business strategy for assisting with workflows. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and SAP S/4HANA, with a strong consulting background. This role involves working on incident response, troubleshooting errors/issues in VIM, and communicating effectively with business stakeholders to understand high-level accounts payable reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Response: Address and resolve issues related to OpenText VIM, including troubleshooting errors and workflow crashes that affect thousands of documents.
  • Workflow Management: Recreate rules and workflows when issues arise, investigate the root cause of issues, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Vendor Management: Use OpenText VIM for vendor management, ensuring accurate documentation and matching of receipts to invoices.
  • Data Integrity: Work with SAP S/4HANA to identify and resolve data integrity issues, passing off to the SAP data team as necessary.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with business stakeholders to understand their needs, handle questions, and provide high-level support for accounts payable reconciliations.
  • Implementation and Support: Lead implementations and provide high-level support for OpenText VIM applications.
  • Node Deployment: Deploy new nodes and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the processing of nearly 2000 invoices through VIM, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 6+ years of experience with OpenText VIM (Vendor Management) and SAP S/4HANA.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of OpenText VIM, SAP S/4HANA, and data integration between these systems.
  • Consulting Background: Proven experience in consulting, with excellent communication skills, business strategizing, and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing projects and delivering results within set timelines.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing invoice data and workflows.
