Seeking an Instructional Designer to develop eLearning courses, learning content, classroom materials and multimedia assets for external audiences.

You will:

  • Create engaging eLearning and video content in Articulate 360, employing a rapid-development approach
  • Role is primarily focused on eLearning but may need to create effective Instructor Led training for the classroom setting such as outlines, slide decks, or handouts.
  • Take visual assets to edit, manipulate or create using graphic design software with a focus on learning.
  • Upload all assets into asset management systems and follow department practices for content hygiene.
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally to improve end-to-end learner experience and identify opportunities to repurpose existing content/materials.
  • Deliver content to an approved learning platform in accordance with defined delivery methods and objectives

Requirements:

  • Portfolio/work samples required
  • 2-3 years of eLearning instructional design experience using Storyline and Rise 360
  • Experience building eLearning content for companies including interactive courses, videos, handouts, simulations, etc.
  • Camtasia experience for screen casting, editing screencasts and creating screencast focused content
  • Intermediate graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite to create, edit and manipulate images with samples of this
  • Open to continuous feedback
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, being assertive and effective in engaging people.
  • Ability to work against tight deadlines with a high quality of work.

Preferred:

  • 1-2 years of experience creating virtual instructor-led course outlines, slide decks, and handouts.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer facing role in a Saas business such as CS/Professional services
  • SAM or agile instructional design methodologies.
