CONFIDENTIAL IS LOOKING FOR A CoE PROCUREMENT DIRECTOR

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Lead the implementation of procurement standards, platforms, systems and policies in alignment with local and global requirements. Responsible for the change management including communication and training (Procurement, Stakeholders and external 3rd parties).
  • Active participation in the definition of Global Procurement Processes and WOW, in collaboration with Global Procurement Strategy Development and Planning team.
  • Support the VP of Procurement and US Procurement Leadership Team in the strategic planning for the function, annual planning, target setting, reporting against the plan and to provide re-forecasting against plan where appropriate.
  • Coordinate Procurement Leadership Team Strategic Planning Process as well as functional drumbeats
  • Supports the US Leadership Team providing analytical information (ie reports, statistics, etc) to enable the delivery of Procurement targets and establish one repository of key management data/insights in collaboration with Global Teams.
  • To ensure and maintain compliance to Procurement Policies, Standards & Platforms for procurement knowledge and data, including SOX controls. Lead Procurement learning and development activities, acting as the point of contact for Global Procurement for the learning and development of US Procurement team. Coordinate the delivery of education and training for US Procurement team (including ESG and Digital knowledge built)
  • To look for opportunities for continuous improvement on Procure to Pay processes, polices, standards and platforms internally, but also externally to make recommendations on potential development opportunities.
  • Lead the delivery of the Sustainability Procurement targets and the deployment of the Procurement Strategies, Policies and Programs (ie CDP disclosure by suppliers, Science based targets introduction, etc)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous practical experience in Procurement is required (no less than 5 years)
  • Highly desirable: previous experience managing Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE) function
  • Thorough knowledge and professional proven experience in procurement principals and approach including managing and executing the following:

Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Management, Contract Management, Category Management and Stakeholder Management

  • Working experience and knowledge of Indirect and Direct Procurement
  • High level of experience in managing projects and programs to improve performance and deliver high level of service
  • Deep understanding of Procurement’s role within the global supply chain operations and its role supporting the business strategy.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, combined with the ability to make decisions based on complex data sets
  • An ability to lead, motivate and manage people without direct line authority or control to deliver functional goals with strong and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of finance and/or accounting in terms of budgeting, cost, management, financial accounting, treasury, risk management, business cases evaluation, etc.
  • Knowledge of enterprise risk management and business continuity planning
  • Self-motivated, energetic, flexible, and adaptable to change
  • Knowledge and experience using Procurement Systems (SAP and Coupa highly desirable)
