Our client, a renowned nonprofit organization, is looking for an Associate, Talent Acquisition to join their team in Washington, D.C.!

About The Job:

  • Support full-cycle recruitment efforts, ensuring an efficient and inclusive selection process.
  • Manage behavior- and competency-based assessment strategies to ensure top talent is hired.
  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to define job requirements and recruitment strategies.
  • Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and guide hiring teams through decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance with hiring policies and procedures.
  • Manage passive and active job seeker pipelines, blending inbound talent channels and direct sourcing.
  • Support contractor and temporary-to-hire staffing needs, including vendor management.
  • Assist with special projects, process optimization, and mentoring junior team members.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2+ years of HR coordination or recruiting coordination experience.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral-based interviewing and candidate evaluation.
  • Knowledge of labor laws related to talent acquisition and recruitment best practices.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and consult hiring teams.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

About the Position:

  • $28/hr - $32/hr, depending on experience.
  • Temporary for 6 months with potential for permanent conversion ($62K-$68K/year).
  • Hybrid schedule (3 days on-site, ideally Tuesday-Thursday) at the Metro Center location.
  • Full-time, 40-hour workweek.
